I finally had a radon fan installed in my crawlspace last week to lower the gas levels. The crew mounted the fan on the outside wall and ran the vent pipe from the sump pit through the floor. It took a full day to seal all the gaps and test the system, but now the radon reading dropped from 6.2 to under 2.0 pCi/L. It's probably the best investment for better indoor air quality.
